Terms of Service

PlaylistAI helps you discover music and create or manage playlists through supported music services. Features vary between the iOS app, website, and plugin. The public Spotify plugin supports Spotify; it does not promise that features available in another PlaylistAI product are available in the plugin.

PlaylistAI is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify, Apple, or OpenAI. You need the accounts and permissions required by those services, and their terms also apply. Availability can vary by provider, account, and country.

You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required by applicable local law or the connected platform. Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to use. Keep your accounts secure and provide accurate information when needed. You control whether to authorize a music connection and can revoke it through the relevant account settings.

When you ask PlaylistAI to create or change a playlist, you authorize it to send that request to the music provider. Review the playlist name, songs, destination, visibility, and requested changes. Removing songs or changing playlist details affects the provider’s copy; you may need to use the provider’s own controls to correct a change.

Do not use PlaylistAI unlawfully, infringe other people’s rights, access accounts without permission, bypass access controls or usage limits, interfere with the service, or abuse its infrastructure. You are responsible for the prompts and other material you submit and for having the right to use them.

You retain your rights in content you submit. You permit PlaylistAI and the providers needed to deliver the service to process that content for your requested features. PlaylistAI does not grant ownership of songs, recordings, album artwork, or other third-party material. Those remain subject to their owners’ rights and the music provider’s terms.

AI suggestions and music searches can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular audience. A song may be unavailable or matched to a different version. Check the returned playlist and any unmatched-song or partial-result notices. PlaylistAI does not guarantee that every requested song is available or that every operation succeeds.

We may change or limit features because of provider rules, rate limits, outages, or product changes. We aim to report failures accurately, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or recovery of content held by another service.

The Spotify plugin is free to use and does not require a PlaylistAI purchase. It does not include purchase links. Spotify or ChatGPT may impose their own account requirements or charges, which are separate from PlaylistAI.

Other PlaylistAI products, including the iOS app, may offer paid features. Any applicable price, renewal terms, and purchase conditions are presented through the relevant purchase flow. Manage or cancel an existing subscription with the provider that bills you. Disconnecting the plugin or deleting an account does not automatically cancel a separate subscription. Any statutory refund or cancellation rights remain available.

Our Privacy Policy at playlistai.app/privacy-policy explains how we handle account data, music connections, playlist requests, and privacy choices. Spotify, Apple, OpenAI, and other providers have their own policies. Do not put secrets or unnecessary sensitive personal information into playlist prompts.

You may stop using PlaylistAI at any time and disconnect your music accounts. Contact us if you also want stored PlaylistAI information deleted. Saved playlists remain with the music provider unless you remove them there.

We may suspend access that is used unlawfully, presents a security risk, or violates these terms. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above shows the latest version, and we will provide notice of material changes where required. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the affected service.
